Went to challenge my camera and myself over the weekend (29th & 30th September 2007)
Went to Chenderong Balai; 30km off of Tapah, Perak, Malaysia - to photo document the Chenderong Balai Kids - a mixture of orphans and trouble kids at their Tahfiz.
The Tahfiz is a self-sustained boarding school - with 30+ kids (majority boys with 1 girl - youngest 9, oldest 15). The kids sleep, eat and learn the Quran there. During day time, some of them went to the public school and some of them don’t.
It bring tears to my eyes seeing these kids and i hope my pictures tell the story.
