Second Shoot - www.hafizismail.net

A long overdue entry! My hands are full right now. Just an update, we are in the middle of an expansion programme and an entry dedicated to this will be posted soon!

Masri & Rozi had their Solemnization & Reception on 3 June 2008 in Kuala Kangsar, Perak. Thanks to Amru of EF for allowing me to second shoot the wedding and the portraiture session.

Enjoy some of the selected photos of the session.

It was a fun 3 days in Kuala Kangsar. Just to get away from the hectic Klang Valley was a treat.

Thanks to Masri & Rozi for being a sporting couple. Congratulations! May Allah bless both of you always.

Until the next post.

“One last shot! I promise!!”

Azman & Muizzah - They're done for the night...

It was midnight and they were tired (so does the photographer). Azman had taken off his jacket and headwear (oh i wish he hadn’t) and Muizzah has settled in the car, half asleep.

“Guys, one last shot! I promise!” I shouted from far and ran towards them,

I placed one SB800 set at TTL on the car dashboard and aimed 45 degrees to the couple. I triggered the flash with my on camera flash that was set at Manual, 1/64.

“Pretend you’re not tired and look to each other…”

That was it.

How did I achieve this shot?
One off-camera flash pointed to the model’s face from up above by an assistant, set at TTL 24mm triggered by my Nikon D200 Creative Lighting System (CLS) at Manual; 1/128th power.
